The Dante Lam Chiu Yin directed film STOOL PIGEON (SIN YUN) not only stars Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Nicholas Tse Ting Fung but also adds Taiwan star Kwai Lun-Mei into its cast. Siu Mei who always has been in romantic films more points out that this film is the biggest challenge in her career. She has always wanted to play an action film or a mob film, so she is very happy about being a part of this film. Finally she gets the chance to play a gang leader, as she feels the director is very daring.

Playing the mob boss, Siu Mei inevitably has to hold or shoot a gun. Director Lam Chiu Yin is effortless with such scenes and also provides a lot of guidance to Siu Mei's performance this time. She says that for her first gun scene she truly is unfamiliar and requires the director to teach her the tricks of holding and shooting a gun. However thus she becomes interested and hopes to have more chances for gun scenes. Director Lam praises Siu Mei for being a natural with guns and able to pick up shooting very quickly. Her performance is convincing and during the shoot she looks like an old hand at all.

Lam Chiu Yin feels not feel any risk in casting Siu Mei who is used to non action roles in this film. He feels that an actor is reluctant to act within a frame, Siu Mei's potential should be even greater. He also does not want everyone to feel that STOOL PIGEON feels like BEAST STALKER (JING YUN) so he adds new actors like Siu Mei. He believes that the audience will cry over Siu Mei's performance.
