Lawrence Cheng Tan Shui and Barbara Wong Chun Chun yesterday attended a BREAK UP CLUB (FUN SAU SHUET OI NEI) screening at HKU SPACE film society's invitation and shared the joys of their new film production with students who loved film. They even received from the society "my favorite director and "my favorite producer" bracelets.

Expressing concern over the widespread discussion of BREAK in the universities, Ah Tan felt that it was due to the story was realistic and intimate enough for the audience to relate to. Chun Chun pointed out that the hard work that the screen writer put inot the script deserved some credit. She believed that the audience was touched perhaps due to the intensity that the ample story formed. Such designs left deep impression with the audience and even recalled their past romantic memories. They without reservation talked about the secret to their collaboration was based on the word "believe". Ah Tan expressed that from the first day of production to the release he believed that this film would succeed. Chun Chun was also happy about persisting with Ah Tan the enthusiasm of film for seven years. Even without other investor support and requiring to finance themselves, they still were fully involved. The resulting success showed everyone.

Speaking of BREAK's ideal box office and word of mouth, Chun Chun expressed that she treated every film of hers as her own child. Whether the outside liked it or not, she would provide it with the best. Ah Tan said, "I can say that I am very proud of this film!" They also urged students who were interested in the film industry to properly grasp every opportunity and not to be afraid to try, because as long as they never gave up and were fully involved in their dreams, they would definitely be able to achieve them.
