GIRL$ (NUI NUI) earlier held a premiere. Leads Michelle Wai (Si Nga) and Bonnie Xian (Sin Sik Lai) had a rare chance to meet again. After the screening they even had dessert with director Kenneth Bi (But Kwok Chi) and premiere guest JJ Jia (Ga Hiu Sun).

During dessert, Si Nga stated that her parents have not gone to the movies for a long time. She was very happy that they came to support her. She said, "Due to the film's sensitive subject and my more daring performance, they were somewhat surprised." Si Nga asked her parents for their opinions on her performance. They both said that they understood why Si Nga had so much pressure at the time. Si Nga said, "Luckily the film has already wrapped. After awhile the depression has passed and my parents were more relaxed."

As for Sin Sik Lai, she said that because her values were similar to Si Nga they got along very well. She said, "She and I like to be taken care of so we admire guys who are more mature and stable. Since we are both girls, we have a lot to talk about like dressing up and shopping. Thus this collaboration was very pleasant." Si Nga has already gone to work in the Mainland, but Si Nga and Sin Sik Lai have already set a date to have dinner again at her return.
