The 1st New York Chinese Film Festival began its second day on September 19. At the New York Museum of Arts and Design screenings of every actor's favorite performance were held for local students and Chinese film viewers. Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho) and Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi chose extremely "Hong Kong flavored" films ONE NITE IN MONGKOK (WONG GOK HAK YEH) and LOST IN TIME (MONG BUT LIU). After the screening, they met with the audience.
Although Cheung Pak Chi was ailing and lost her voice due to the flu, she still propped herself up and dressed up to meet with local viewers. With her hoarse voice she recommended Chinese films to the audience and the media. Pak Chi stated that she loved acting. Being able to work as an actor was her fortune. She revealed after completing this Chinese film promotion she soon would begin to work again.
