[2010.09.25] ELLA KOON HAS CHALLENGING EMOTIONAL SCENE IN NEW FILM

Ella Koon Yun Na, Willie Chan Chi Keung, Stanley Kwan Kam Peng and others yesterday attended the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival 2010 press conference to announce the Asian Film Festival's two opening films, the Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung and Jimmy Wan Chi Man directed, Eason Chan Yik Shun, Karena Lam Ka Yun and others starred LOVER'S DISCOURSE (LUEN YUN SHUI YU) and the Wong Ching Po directed, Juno Mak Chun Lung and Japanese actress Sora Aoi starred film REVENGE: A LOVE STORY (FOK SAU JEH JI SEI).

The film festival will run between October 22 and November 8 in Hong Kong. Ella Koon Yun Na will serve as the film festival ambassador. Kwan Kam Peng stated that his new film had a youth topic and titled SHOWTIME, which Chan Chi Keung produced. Mak Chun Lung said that he will work with his god father Chan Chi Keung. He pointed out that God father's expertise was producing action films, so his new film will mainly be action. Will he personally perform some of the stunts? He said, "I will try my best to perform all the action."

The Koon Yun Na starred MERRY-GO-ROUND (DUNG FUNG POR) will be this year's closing film. Koon Yun Na yesterday along with actors Miu Kam Fung, Lawrence Chou Chun Wai and others promoted their new film. Koon Yun Na said, "This performance had a lot of potential. Not only did it require drug treatment but also terminal illness. The emotional scene was the biggest challenge." In addition, LOVER'S DISCOURSE star William Chan Wai Ting said that in the film he fell for an older woman. In real life he has always fallen for woman five years his senior. Chan Wai Ting said, "Girls who are older than me know how to be considerate and worry about me."
