Mainland actress Huang Yi yesterday while working in Hong Kong suddenly had stomach cramps. Co-workers immediately rushed her to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with a stomach infection. Her schedule yesterday was forced to be completely cancelled.
Huang Yi earlier came to Hong Kong to promote her film WOMAN KNIGHT OF THE MIRROR LAKE. Due to the severity of the situation, Huang Yi not only took pain killers but also a pain killer shot. Yesterday Huang Yi said, "After the shot I am a little better. (Did you contact your family?) No, I don't want to worry them!" After resting awhile Huang Yi left the hospital last night. Reportedly, Huang Yi was very tense about WOMAN promotion because the film was her first lead role. Although the doctor urged her to rest more, she still insisted on continuing to work today.
