The famous Taiwan director Wei Te-Sheng directed, the most expensive film in Taiwan film industry history SEEDIQ BALE yesterday held its Hong Kong premiere.  The director along with male lead Umin Boya (Ma Chi Cheung) personally attended the Hong Kong premiere.

Wei Te-Sheng said that SEEDIQ BALE described a Taiwan historical hero, different from Hollywood hero films.  He said, "The film is about a real enduring hero.  This time for the Hong Kong release some bloody killing scenes had to be cut, but it is no less attractive."  Umin Boya described, "This film's subject is about our ancestor's culture, I never thought about becoming famous.  I only wanted to participate so even more people know about the Taiwan aboriginal culture."
