The Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Gao Yuanyuan starred film WITH OR WITHOUT (YUT SUN YUT SAI) after completing its Beijing shoot by the middle of last month moved to New York to continue its production. Because the New York portion was Ting Fung and Yuanyuan's reunion years later and also the climax of their character's love story in the film, director Zou Xian made a special request for them to try to interact more off camera as well to increase their chemistry. Zou Xian said, "Different from the Beijing portion, in the New York portion of the story their characters are already adults. Thus their love expression method and attitude would be very different. I hope to display that type of warm love. They really are good actors and would make you feel that sweet 'chemical reaction'. Through their eyes, I sensed the long awaited true love that this film wants to express."
Yuanyuan would go out when she was not at work and do what she would normally do on vacation. She said, "One day we took a photo of the Hollywood film NOW YOU SEE IT location." Tse Ting Fung said, "Shooting a movie in New York feels so carefree! When I am not at work, Yuanyuan would recommend some unique coffee shops to me, and the team would recommend burger places."
