Project WAO X Kiehl's Since 1851 Hong Kong charity concert yesterday held a press conference at the Convention Center. Singers Sandy Lam Yik Lin, A-Mei (Cheung Wai Mui), Tanya Chua (Choi Kin Nga) and Natasha Na Ying attended. The concert takes place today.
The beneficiary organization End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation received HK$ 3 million charity check, which vice president Shi Nansun accepted. Having worked with the late director Lung Kong, Shi Nansun has heard about Lung Kong's passing. She said, "I know that he has been ill for a long time. In August he received a Lifetime Achievement Award. Back then my company's founding film SHANGHAI BLUES also invited him to guest star in a bed scene. He loved film and was full of passion for it, thus back then Tsui Hark remade his STORY OF A DISCHARGED PRISONER.. The last time we met was several years ago, his family will handle his affairs."
