The Bona film thriller INSANITY (BO FUNG YU) yesterday held a premiere press conference in Beijing. The film is Derek Yee Tung Sing produced, Lee Kuan Yew directed, Sean Lau Ching Wan, Huang Xiaoming, Fiona Sit Hoi Kei and Michelle Ye (Yip Suen) starred. Ching Wan and Xiaoming engaged in a war of words at the event. Playing a doctor, Huang Xiaoming led Yee Tung Sing, Lee Kuan Yew, Sit Hoi Kei and Yip Suen in forcing "patient" Ching Wan to take his medication with toy capsule, thermometer and needle. INSANITY's theme song was also released for the first time, with Eason Chan Yik Shun as its performer. Although Chan Yik Shun was unable to attend the event in person, he sent a recording and hoped that he will be able to work with the two Best Actors in a film in the future.

Ching Wan said that this time he finally no longer worked with Louis Koo Tin Lok, in his place was a new face and "slighter less tan" Huang Xiaoming. Actually Huang Xiaoming was not lucky at all. He said, "Before I became an actor, I grew up watching Big Brother Ching Wan's films." Yet this time in the film Ching Wan's constant "gloomy face" scared him. "Everyday I saw his innocent eyes staring at me, when he suddenly exploded he was also very terrifying." Speaking of the theme, both said that in the film the other almost drove them crazy. Ching Wan said, "Huang Xiaoming forces me to take drugs everyday, when you watch the film you will discover that actually he is very insane. I feel his performance this time is outstanding." Xiaoming replied, "A doctor is the most afraid of uncooperative patients. This collaboration made me realize that Big Brother Ching Wan indeed is my god--of insanity!"

The host invited Ching Wan and Xiaoming's onscreen lovers Yip Suen and Sit Hoi Kei to bear witness. They actually complained that their "own man" was the craziest. Yip Suen said that originally she was very excited to play a couple with her idol La uChing Wan, but in the film he actually "loves you so much that he kills you". Sit Hoi Kei complained that Xiaoming's "cold violence" toward her was even more horrible. Yet privately Xiaoming actually was very funny and rather suitable for comedy.

When Yee Tung Sing said that this time Lau Ching Wan would be responsible for the box office while Huang Xiaoming was responsible for acting, Ching wan joked, "He is mad! The film relies on everyone's hard work to succeed, it is impossible for one person to carry the box office." Xiaoming humbly said, "Acting naturally is the responsibility of Big Brother Ching Wan, but this time I thoroughly abandon myself again and am completely different from before."

Xiaoming while working ont the film due to pressure almost killed himself. He admitted that "for several days I felt depressed and frustrated" and needed guidance from Yee Tung Sing.
