The film starring all of MIRROR, WE 12 (12 GWAI DOH) officially opened last Thursday (March 28th). The 12 members during the Easter holiday divided up into teams for audience appreciation events and successfully pumped up the opening box office. In the 4 short days of the Easter holiday the film made over HK$ 13.2 million at the box office, even defeating the Hollywood film GODZILLA X KONG: NEW EMPIRE to become the Easter film champion.

The Hong Kong Box Office Co. Ltd. yesterday announced the 2024 Easter slot (March 29th to April 1st) top five box office. WE 12 over the 4 day public holiday made HK$ 13,206,877 to become the film with the best Easter box office. As for April 1st over 5 days the film accumulated 15,099,676 at the box office. Opening on the same days as WE 12, GODZILLA X KONG: NEW EMPIRE made 9,818,598 during the Easter slot. Over 5 days its cumulative box office as 12,127,291, which landed it in second place on the Easter box office. In third was also released on the same day, the animated film KUNG FU PANDA 4, over 5 days its cumulative box office was 6,373,775.

The twelve members two days ago split up for the final day of audience appreciation events. Anson Lo Hon Ting and Frankie Chan Shui Fai went to Mongkok at night. They revealed that after work they would return home to start packing for their concerts in Canada. This time they would not bring their families. Anson Lo also said that once he would leave Hong Kong this time, he would not see everyone until after three weeks. He joked that fans have said that they had "long distance" feeling. During the question and answer segment, a viewer asked if WE 12 became a tomb raid or piracy at sea what abilities would they like? Frankie said that usually those settings would have floods and beasts, so he would be able to keep the film's sixth sense skills.

Anson Lo felt that if tomb raiding, he hoped to be able to keep his agility so he would be able to climb mountains, walk on water and fight monsters. He could also raid ancient tombs for jewelry and precious metals and antiques. However with piracy, Anson Lo joked that deep sea would not have his worst fear of goldfish, but he would be afraid when he sees sharks too. Frankie said to him, "The ocean wouldn't have the fishes you are afraid of."

Anson Lo explained that he used to be a fish keeping expert, as he had starfish, jellyfish and sea horse. Thus for a pirate film he knew how to swim and not afraid to get a tan, because his skin would turn light very quickly. He also joked that group mate Jer Lau Ying Ting's disguise ability could turn him into a shark for deep sea activities. A viewer jokingly suggested to turn Jer into a mermaid.

Jer Lau Ying Ting and captain Lokman Yeung went to Tsuen Wan. Jer received escort from security guards in disguise Edan Lui Cheuk On and Dee Ho Kai Wa at another event. Edan felt proud because he was not discovered at all. Jer said that he did not know until he got there. Was he pleased with the two's performance?
