[2024.04.05] ANSON LO WORKS ALL NIGHT ON HIS MOVIE BEFORE THE NORTH AMERICAN TOUR

The 12 members of MIRROR earlier completed their first England concert tour. After returning to Hong Kong they immediately attended audience appreciation events for their first group movie WE 12 (12 GWAI DOH) and went to over 100 shows. In addition, Anson Lo recently has been working on the Johnnie To Kei Fung directed film. Three nights ago he was working in Kwun Tong. Due to the rain last week, the team's production was affected. Thus this time's shoot location and scene were very similar to last week's. Around 7 PM Anson Lo appeared at the location. Playing a driver, he was driving a couple. During the trip they began making out in the backseat, while driving he witnessed what was happening in his rear view mirror and looked displeased. He then stopped the car to yell at them.

Because Anson Lo has no driver's license, the car never moved from its original spot. He relied on the lighting team staff with spotlights outside the vehicle to create the moving car effect. The cinematography half lay on the blanket covered hood to shoot. The entire scene lasted around 2 minutes, but this time the same scene shot over 20 takes; from 7 PM to 11 PM the director still has not accepted one. Perhaps due to the heat at the location, when cameras stopped rolling Anson Lo often used a handheld fan to lower his own temperature. On the set he also had bread, while waiting in the vehicle he would also rest his eyes to recharge. He looked obviously tired.

Around midnight the team went on a meal break, Anson Lo also returned to the break room. After resting for a hour he continued to work and shoot the same scene from numerous angles. After 2 AM the shoot finally completed. Despite his exhaustion Anson Lo still very politely said to the crew, "Thank you for your hard work, bye bye." Reporters asked Anson Lo whether he has packed for the North American tour, he smiled and said, "Not yet."

In addition, around 20 "Disciples" (fans nickname) gathered across the street from the shoot. However in order to keep from disturbing the "Cult Leader's" production, they only nicely and quietly watched.
