For the convenience of TVB artists to attend the TVB anniversary award ceremony tomorrow, this year the TVBI and Malaysia's Astro organized My AOD My Favorite TVB Series Award 2010 took place last night in Hong Kong. Most winning artists dressed up and attended, including favorites Lai Yiu Cheung, Mose Chan Ho Sun, Sheren Tang Shui Man, Charmaine Sheh Si Man and Fala Chen, Pierre Ngo Ka Nin, Tavia Yeung Yi, Steven Ma Chun Wai and Dominic Lam Ka Wa. Finally Chan Ho and Ah Sheh won "My Favorite Television Male and Female Lead" as favorites. They also won the character awards. Their show CAN'T BUY ME LOVE (GUNG JU GA DOH) also won the series award. NO REGRETS (YI HOI HO CHING) only had four awards. On the red carpet before the show, the favorites became the focus. First Cheung Jai and Chan Ho posed and even hug; Ah Sheh and Man Nui during their photo together also had fun chatting.

Ah Sheh was very happy to win the Female Lead Award and thanked executive Tsang Lai Chun for her discipline, often impacting her and calling her ugly and also disciplining her not to be proud despite performing well. Chan Ho in his thank you speech welcomed back Stephen Chan Chi Wan. When they accepted the series award, Sister Chun led the two leads and Fala to stage. Sister Chun even praised every actors as nice, did not need to be scolded and only praised. As for reports that claimed Man Nui will win Best Actress again and that she signed with TVB for the award, Ah She said, "That's not right, it's unfair to artists. You can't overlook artists' hard work." She said that the result will be announced tomorrow night and right now no one is uncertain. Ah Sheh rushed back from the Mainland. She thanked her team for their help, in particular Bobby Auyeung Chun Wa who took over her shoot so she could return to Hong Kong for three days to attend the Anniversary Awards. "I am already very happy about winning now. Sunday I will do my best. (If you won't win then, will you feel tonight is the consolation prize?) They are unrelated. The Malay viewers voted for this and has nothing to do with Hong Kong." Ah Sheh was also nominated for the Performing Artist Guild's Outstanding Performing Artist Award. Was she confident? Ah Sheh said, "I am confident in any competition. (What do you feel is outstanding?) CAN'T BUY ME LOVE and hard work over these dozen years or so."

Chan Ho honestly said that this award increased his confidence in the Anniversary award show. "Tonight's award I treat like half a victory. (Cheung Jai is also confident?) He has always been a buy for me, but if I win I will be happy too. (Are you afraid the lack of awards that night, tonight is a consolation award?) Any award is fine, it is encouraging." Man Nui and Cheung Jai were not unhappy or disappointed because NO only aired ten episodes before the voting ended. They were already happy about having any award at all. This was also Man Nui's first Malay award. As for her contract for award rumors, she said that anything could be rumored. If she won again it would be meaningful since NO was ROSY BUSINESS (GUN GOK HIU HUNG) sequel. As for NO losing to CAN'T, Man Nui felt that this had nothing to do with victory or defeat because some viewers liked to watch heavy series and some liked happy ones. Thus CAN'T victory did not mean NO defeat. She said that she was in negotiation to return to work on a TVB series. Cheung Jai said that until the award was in his hand he would not treat rumors as real, however he was certainly confident.
