The 10th Global Chinese Song Chart Awards yesterday took place at Radio Hong Kong. Attending singers included Eason Chan Yik Shun, Kay Tse On Kay, Hins Cheung King Hin, Joey Yung Cho Yi, Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin and JJ Lin (Lam Chun Kit). Jane Zhang Liangying was the big winner with five and a half awards, Cheung King Hin, Chan Yik Shun and Lam Chun Kit each won five, Yung Cho Yi and Khalil Fong Datong won four. Chan Yik Shun and Yung Cho Yi won the Most Popular Male and Female Singers, while Lam Chun Kit and Zhang Liangying won Best Male and Female Singers.
Near the end of the event, Eason, Cho Yi and Tse On Kay stood next to each other. Cho Yi and Tse On Kay chatted cheerfully but Chan Yik Shun did not converse with Tse On Kay. Even when Cho Yi accepted the award and left a space between them, they still had no exchange. Chan Yik Shun said that he just returned from a Mainland beverage promotion, which even broke a record. 200,000 balloons lifted the 180 pound him off the ground three meters, of course he also had "wire" assistance.
