The 33rd Hong Kong Film Award will take place Sunday (April 13th) at the Cultural Center. This year's masters of ceremonies Teresa Mo Shun Kwan, Ronald Cheng Chung Kei, Gordon Lam Ka Tung and director Andrew Lau Wai Keung yesterday attended the worship ceremony to pray for everything to go smoothly at the show.

This year the award theme is "Light and Shadow of Time". The event invited Maggie Cheung Man Yuk to edit a video. First time editing a short film for the award show, Cheung Man Yuk said, "After coming in contact with music editing, I also become interested in film editing. Editing brings me a lot of creative space. In the future I will hard work in this direction."

Mo Mo said that her husband Au Ting Ping has already prepared two dresses for her and they would be a little sexy. Who would she pick? Mo Mo felt that THE GRANDMASTER (YUT DOI JUNG SI) would win all major awards. She said, "My Best Film pick is THE GRANDMASTER." As for Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress, Mo Mo did not name names but all of her answers were "THE GRANDMASTER would not win less major awards." As for Supporting Actor, she liked THE WAY WE DANCE (KONG MO PAI)'s Babyjohn Choi Hong Yik. She thought that he performed very well. She pointed out that the Supporting Actress nominees were all Best Actresses, no matter who won they conceivably would not mind themselves.

Cheng Chung Kei and Lam Ka Tung worked with Mo Mo for the first time as hosts. They were afraid that her reaction would be too fast and they would not be able to handle it. They both liked THE GRANDMASTER's Zhang Ziyi for Best Actress. As for Best Actor, they hoped it would go to Louis Koo Tin Lok because Goo Jai performed very well in THE WHITE STORM (SO DUK). In addition everyone said that now the film industry has a generation gap, he should be encouraged.
