UNICEF ambassador Louis Koo Tin Lok yesterday attended a press conference to promote a November charity run. Goo Jai will fly to Thailand to work on a new film about firefighting with Lau Ching Wan. Although the film will have a lot of dangerous stunts, he declined to have a double. "Because many shots were direct, stunt doubles would be hard to use. I can only try to be as careful as I can. The doctor said that my feet's meniscus was already worn very thin without any way to recover." He said that he could jog but not jump, especially not from high up. Goo Jai knew that the new film would be focused in the fire or diving. Everyday he would have to stay in the fire for 8 hours. The shoot will continue for 3 months straight. He not only bought more insurance but was mentally prepared to be darker and thinner.
