[2013.07.24] CONTINUING THE KUNG FU SPIRIT

The Hung Kuen Grand Master of a generation Lau Kar Leung passed away. He loved martial arts, loved movies, and loved his family. His wife Mary Jean Reimer (Yung Jing) continued his spirit as she attentively turned the funeral hall into a martial art hall for family and friends to recall their past with Master. Yung Jing Jing as the Master's wife led Lau Kar Leung's disciples in a kung fu pose in front of the altar as a final salute to Master.

Lau Kar Leung today bid farewell to the "martial art ring", leaving the hot blooded, undying spirit of martial arts and a group of martial art successors he cultivated. As the Master's wife, Yung Jing Jing wore a special ordered long black robe with a white scarf with the word Lau stitched on it and sat straight in front of the "Grand Master of A Generation" banner. She had no makeup and could not hide her frail look. Despite showing others her reluctance over her beloved husband's passing, she still displayed a presence.

Over 30 Lau Kar Leung disciples posed in kung fu stance in front of Master's altar and swore to continue the Grand Master of a Generation's kung fu spirit.
