Donnie Yen Chi Tan two nights ago held a 50th birthday with a 60's theme, guests put an effort into their costumes. Sandra Ng Chun Yu joked that she forced her husband Peter Chan Ho Sun and an art director to help her with her TRIUMPH IN THE SKIES (CHUNG SEUNG WON SIU) retro flight attendant look; "I asked an art director friend to put something together in the prop and costume storage. The bag actually was my daughter's birthday present. I remembered that she had this bag and immediately called the sister at home to bring it to me."
What if Chan Ho Sun asked her to wear the flight attendant uniform at home everyday? Kwan Yu laughed and said, "That would be bad! I originally wanted to play a female Lui Kei, but I couldn't find a shrunken suit; I wanted to put on the ECHOES OF THE RAINBOW (SHUI YUET SUN TAU) costume but it was already gone." Chan Ho Sun two nights ago went to the party as soon as he got off the plane.
Real Ting Chi Ko and Julian Hsu put on fake mustaches to play Ting Lik. Ting Chi Ko posted their photo with the official version Ting Like Ray Lui Leung Wai. Miriam Yeung Chin Wa even joked that she thought her husband was Lui Leung Wai. Ting Chi Ko won an expensive Omega watch at the lucky drawing. Lui Leung Wai posted online the photo of Donnie Yen Chi Tan's family. Yen Chi Tan's children also appeared in nostalgic costumes. The square seven colored birthday cake had the number 50 and film for his 50th birthday and film achievement. In the middle was a hand holding couple figures. Michelle Chen two nights ago flew all over the event and posted many photos.
Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai) yesterday morning flew to Inner Mongolia for a show and left the party early. "After putting on the Ip Man costume I realized that he was a 40s person, I messed up! Later I wanted to change into THE BUND but it wasn't the 60s either. Luckily the Chinese long gown was around in any era." Siu Chai revealed that Yen Chi Tan's daughter Yen Chai Yu performed an English song. "Lord Tan's daughter sang very well! I told Boss (Peter Lam Kin Ngok) to sign her!"
