Director Fruit Chan Gor, Simon Yam Tat Wa, Janice Man Wing Shan, Kara Wai Ying Hung, Tsui Tin Yau and Wong Yau Nam two nights ago appeared at a Mongkok cinema to promote their film THE MIDNIGHT AFTER (NA YEH LING SUN, NGOR JOR SEUNG LIU WONG GOK HOI WONG DAI PO HUNG VAN). The film has not been released yet, Yam Tat Wa already excitedly asked the actors to raise victory signs high and hoped Chan Gor would make a sequel. Chan Gor said that Hong Kong film productions have limited budget. Would Yam Tat Wa reduce his salary for a sequel? He said that he already dropped his rate a lot to support Chan Gor for the first time. He hoped to charge the normal rate for the sequel.

Siu Hung and Janice Man like Yam Tat Wa took pay cuts to make MIDNIGHT. Siu Hung revealed that she only took 1/3 her salary and for the second film she would not give another discount, because they have already told the director and the boss that they would invest their salaries on the sequel. Janice Man said, "I haven't been a film boss before, let me try it once." They also said that they have taken full precaution so they were not afraid of wardrobe malfunction or being taken advantage of in Mongkok. Siu Hung humorously said, "People have to touch me in a long time, if someone does it is out of respect for me." Janice Man also said, "It's been awhile since anyone touched me, the most was the masseur." Janice Man said that she was addicted to massages and would get five in a week. She also asked for masseurs because men were stronger.
