The film TEN YEARS (SUP NIN)'s Hong Kong Film Award Best Film led to endless controversy. Someone suggested a standard change at the Hong Kong Film Award board of directors meeting last month and requested the second round voting to remove the professional jury. Director Yim Ho at the book fair press conference was asked about the matter. "I haven't heard a lot about it, I don't know how to respond. How was that professional jury chosen? Not everyone know, if cancelled what would replace it?" As for voice of opposition, Yim Ho continued, "Film not only is harder to make than before, the jury is also very complicated. A lot of political elements are involved. I believe everyone is still looking into how to resolve them."

Yim Ho's review of TEN YEARS is "Professionally speaking it is not too professional." He continued to make comparison to news reports. He said, "News can't be called professional just because of one well written sentence. If the content doesn't make sense, it can't win Best News." Yim Ho if films become slogans, their quality would only get worse and worse.
