The Benny Chan Muk Sing directed film SHAOLIN (SUN SIU LUM JI) will open in Hong Kong. The film has a strong cast with Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, Jackie Chan, Andy Lau Tak Wa and others. This was the fourth collaboration between Chan Muk Sing and Ting Fung. He praised Ting Fung for charging ahead in film and felt that his recent range has changed a lot. Originally Ting Fung in the film played a monk, but finally Chan Muk Sing arranged for him to play the villain. Ting Fung was very happy and played very wildly because he wanted the character to be evil, mean, and low, but he did not want Ting Fung to act too excessively.

Chan Muk Sing and Wa Jai worked together again after 20 years. Back then they worked together on A MOMENT OF ROMANCE (TIN YEUK YAU CHING). He felt that Wa Jai's acting method has changed and this collaboration was very pleasant. This film was related to Buddhism As a Buddhist Wa Jai provided a lot of opinions during the shoot. Chan Muk Sing also said that earlier the theme song gave him a headache but Wa Jai wrote it in three days, much to his satisfaction. Who had the most opinions on this shoot? Chan Muk Sing pointed out that Ting Fung's passion for action and martial art was almost maniacal. He felt that he should become an action director like Jackie Chan. He stressed that was not negative but positive. He also pointed out that Ting Fung practiced martial art and weapons at home. Once he practiced a new staff style and immediately demonstrated it to Chan Muk Sing to see if it was useful. He appreciated Ting Fung's hard work and even named him his
official actor. As for actress Fan Bingbing, Chan Muk Sing also praised her for risking her life.
