Director Dante Lam Chiu Yin spent half a year to prepare for the Emperor new film YIK JIN (REVERSE WAR), which has been scheduled officially for departure on February 6th for Jordan. Lead actors have finally been confirmed as Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun) and Nicholas Tse Ting Fung who will play brothers. The story will involve an international mystery and a search for family in order to be freshness of sensory stimulation and drama to the audience. Reportedly, Director Lam is still looking hard for the villain. Currently he has already begun contact with Korean stars Jung Woo-Sung and Lee Byung-Hun. Mainland actress Bai Bing will be one of the lead actresses. With the over HK$200 million record breaking Hong Kong film budget, the film already has anticipation before the production even began.

Director Lam wanted to bring the Persian Gulf war back to life for viewers. Speaking of this HK$150 million opening scene, Director Lam excitedly said, "Production will officially begin around February 25 and shoot for at least nine days. The location was the Hollywood film THE HURT LOCKER's location. We asked HURT's workers to help. The team will have around 160 people, the biggest in my film career. Hopefully everything will go well!" Director Lam earlier met with Ting Fung for three hours. Actually he was asking Ting Fung to make almost half a year's time for the shoot. Reportedly, multiple Best Actor award winner Nick Cheung Ka Fai originally agreed to guest star but due to scheduling conflict he was unable to. Director Lam already hinted that next year he will have an important project with Ka Fai.

It will be Emperor's major "return" to Hong Kong film market, a small rebound for the shrinking local film industry in recent years. YIK has already been confirmed for an end of the year release and has intention to gauge its heat at Cannes and Venice Film Festival.
