The Korean film and television award ceremony with the longest history, the 47th Baeksang Arts Awards last night took place in Seoul. Mainland female star Tang Wei although was dropped from BEGINNING OF THE GREAT REVIVAL, her Korean film with Won Bin, LATE AUTUMN made her the first Chinese female star and the only foreign nominee to win a Best Actress award. She thanked co-star Hyun Bin; last year's Best Actor Ha Jung-Woo won again with THE YELLOW SEA. Grand Prize went to Lee Byung-Hun's I SAW THE DEVIL. SBS series GIANT's Jung Bo Suk and MBC costume series DONG YI's Han Hyo-Ju won Best Television Actor and Actress. The Grand Prize to SECRET GARDEN's Hyun Bin.
The Best Picture went to THE MAN FROM NOWHERE, Best Director was POETRY's Lee Chang-Dong. Best Script went to HE'S ON DUTY's Yoo Sang-Hyo. SECRET GARDEN won Best Series and Screenplay award, Best Television Director went to BAKER KING, KIM TAK-GOO's Lee Jung-Sub.
SUNGKYUNKWAN SCANDAL's lead and JYJ member Micky Park Yoochun won Television Male Rookie and Popular Male Star, SECRET GARDEN's Yoo In-Na won Best Female Rookie and CINDERELLA'S SISTER's Geun Young won Popular Female Star. In the film categories, BIGBANG member T.O.P with 71: IN THE FIRE won Rookie Actor and Popular Male Star. Best Rookie Actress was HE'S ON DUTY's Shin Hyun-Bin and Popular Female Star went to Cyrano
Dating Agency's Park Shin-Hye.
