The Phoenix Satellite organized YOU BRING THE WORLD CHARM AWARDs took place last night at the Beijing University. Five Best Actress Award winner of the film A SIMPLE LIFE (TOH JEH), Deanie Ip Tak Han received the "culture and art" award for her contribution to art and culture.
Ip Tak Han joked that her Putonghua was so rotten that she had to read the speech exactly like she wrote on the cheat sheet. "I am very honored to be able to touch the audience as an actress and a singer. I am very happy to run into many excellent filmmakers like Wong Jing, (Andy) Lau Tak Wa, (Ann) Hui On Wa. My character in A SIMPLE LIFE is a small figure, being able to touch the audience it proved that small figure has influence too." She felt that her life has already reached its twilight, being able to run into a good script and a good character as well as a touching story was the icing on the cake and she felt honored.
