[2012.04.03] MICHELLE CHEN'S KISS WITH CHEN HAN-TIEN IS NOT ROMANTIC

Michelle Chen who rose to stardom with the film YOU ARE THE APPLE OF MY EYE in Hong Kong and Taiwan yesterday promoted her new film SOUL OF THE BREAD with actor Chen Han-Tien in Hong Kong.  They were linked in rumors because of this film.  Chen Han-Tien was asked whether he would pursue Michell Chen, he pretended not to understand.  When asked whether Michelle Chen tempted his heart, Chen Han-Tien said, "During the shoot definitely, we are good friends.  Everyday after work we would eat together." Michelle Chen said that the cast everyday after the shoot would meet for dinner, which had quite a big family feeling.

Speaking of the kiss scene with Chen Han-Tien, Michelle Chen said that she and Chen Han-Tien's kiss was an emotional release.  The kiss with the other co-star Anthony Neely (Ngai On Tung) was the more romantic type.  Out of the two she preferred the romantic type and felt that a romantic kiss would be more mild mannered.  Chen Han-Tien was made fun of for needing many takes for the kiss scene.  He said, "I didn't deliberately have bad takes, just that the shoot needed different angles."

Michelle Chen said that she was not worried about SOUL OF THE BREAD box office and joked that people who have seen the film would definitely love bread.  Michelle Chen seemed slimmer.  She said, "I didn't deliberately lose weight, but now work requires good condition so I have suitable exercise rate."  Michelle Chen will work with Donnie Yen Chi Tan on a new film next month.  She said, "I look forward to it very much, but I am not nervous.  I am just excited."  Michelle Chen also revealed that she probably would not need to fight in the film, but intimate scene has not been confirmed yet.
