THE BULLET VANISHES (SIU SUT IK JI DAN) cast yesterday appeared at the Shanghai press conference.  On the stage that was designed like a large Republic arsenal, director Law Chi Leung, Lau Ching Wan, Mini Yang Mi, Liu Kai Chi turned into a smart detective group and played an "extreme mystery" segment.  They not only successfully unveiled the six major characters' looks and also found the Best Actor Nicholas Tse Ting Fung who was busy and absent from the event.  Lau Ching Wan humorously said, "Ting Fung originally planned to stay home to be a full time house husband, luckily a 'godly detective' like me came in and found him."

At the event, Lau Ching Wan and Yang Mi formed a temporary team and answered many of the hosts' tough questions.  They not only teamed up to unveil the four major character's costumes but also dug deeper to bring Tse Ting Fung who did not appear into the event.  Although Ting Fung could not attend, in the video he said that he looked forward to the film very much.  "The most memorable for me in THE BULLET VANISHES production was my first attempt in changing genres.  It is not only an action film but also focuses on mystery investigation and other intelligent segments.  However my six pack abs have completely vanished!  I didn't have to fight and we feasted at every meals."

The film's producer Derek Yee Tung Sing earlier said that Tse Ting Fung and Yang Mi had a daring and fiery bed scene.  Yang Mi said, "Actually after 3 days in the production the director wanted to shoot the scene already.  At the time Ting Fung and i weren't very familiar yet, the feeling was somewhat embarrassing.  Thus I asked the director if I could drink a little before the shoot.  For that scene I drank red wine and beer, finally I found the most suitable feeling."  As for playing such a fiery scene in her first collaboration with Tse Ting Fung, was she worried that her boyfriend Harwick Lau Hoi Wai would be jealous?  Yang Mi said, "Everyone are professional actors, he definitely can understand."
