Nick Cheung Ka Fai in Dante Lam Chiu Yin's previous film UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN) played a muscular fighter. This time in THAT DEMON WITHIN (MOR GAING) he played a demon cop and that different was enormous. Actually this was Lam Chiu Yin's deliberate design. Last time was Heaven and this time he and Ka Fai both fell into Hell. He said, "Last time UNBEATABLE was very inspirational, it was Heaven. This time I fell in Hell with Ka Fai. Only polar opposites would have impact and freshness. Otherwise I am afraid that it will be similar to the last time." Lam Chiu Yin praised Ka Fai for his smile and expression that already expressed his inner complexity in the trailer and made many people imagine. He also pointed out that was Cheung Ka Fai's power today and the reason that he asked Cheung Ka Fai to perform.
