Jackie Chan turns 60 today. He has organized a series of celebrations for his fans. Last night at the Beijing Workers Stadium a Peace and Friendship charity concert took place. His wife Joan Lin (Lam Fung Giu) and son Jaycee Chan (Fong Cho Ming) arrived early to manage. Lam Fung Giu even personally designed a green suit for Jackie Chan, who happily called her "fashion giant" and "Lam Chan Fung Giu". Performers included stars from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Singapore like Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun). Wang Leehom (Wong Lik Won), Coco Lee Man, Leo Ku Kui Ke, EXO, Kim Hee-Sun, Misia, Long Long and others as they celebrated his half a century of contribution to film.

Jackie Chan aside from the concert last night would participate in the Jackie Chan International fan club's journey of friendship 1000 fan meeting today with fans from around the world. At night a banquet would take place with a charity auction. Tomorrow he would take the high speed railway from Beijing to Shanghai with fans to witness the Jackie Chan museum's opening on the 9th. Jackie Chan was rather tense about the celebrations this time. Several days ago he was already in Beijing for meetings and preparations.

At the concert last night, 1,000 fans in red jackets entered the venue and made quite a sight. Lam Fung Giu wore a blue tee shirt and was already supervising at the venue in the afternoon. Jackie Chan also wore blue in rehearsal. At the opening, a group of Beijing students in red jackets waved flags of nations from around the world and a big butterfly. Jackie Chan in a white Chinese suit rose from the center of the stage and sang for the first time a new song that Cho Ming wrote for him, NO LONGER LOST. He also thanked everyone in different languages. Jackie Chan said, "I am 60, it is the first time that I organize this peace and friendship concert. This time we are very environmentally friendly, no firework. We even do charity work with everyone. I wish that there will be no more war and pollution, we should not have any differentiation between your nation and my nation. That is passe. We should only have one nation, the global village, and only one kind of people, people of Earth."

Coco Lee man said that she was very surprised and honored to receive the invitation. She said, "In the U.S. we are neighbors. Big Brother always called me older sister and I called him god brother. This time is like a family celebration." Korean group EXO member Chen and Zhang Liyin's duet received an enthusiastic response. Jackie Chan sang with Singapore's Joi Chua, Taiwan's Where Chou and Korea's Kim Hee-Sun. He held their hands and sang. He even kissed Kim Hee-Sun on the cheek and walked her off stage. Jackie Chan later sang UNDERSTAND MY HEART with the audience.

Although not the entire EXO was present, their performance left fans screaming. Long Long wished Jackie Chan a Happy Birthday with his piano performance. When Wang Leehom appeared he praised Jackie Chan's half a century contribution to film and music as well as promotion of love and peace. Jackie Chan changed into a green suit and asked Wang Leehom which fashion giant designed it. Either accidentally or deliberately he said it was a "Lam Chan Fung Giu" design and the crowd wowed.

Chow Kit Lun appeared in a leather jacket and performed with nunchaku. Jackie Chanand he took turns tossing nunchaku into the audience. Friends who did not attend like Zhang Yimou, Fan Bingbing, Li Bingbing, Lin Chiling, Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Zhou Xun, Shu Qi recorded well wishes on video. Eason Chan Yik Shun's impersonation of Jackie Chan singing POLICE STORY theme song was very accurate. Fong Cho Ming prepared a truffle birthday cake that said JC60 to his father on the stage and invited Ko Chen-Tung to pull the confetti cannon. Jackie Chan said, "I am so touched, I am speechless!" In the end everyone sang TOMORROW WILL BE EVEN BETTER as Jackie Chan said at the end, "See you at the next 60th!"

Korean pop group EXO were guest performers yesterday. More than half of the fans outside the stadium came for them, but they deeply understood that popularity was not as important so they respected their elders very much. After arriving they immediately presented birthday gifts to Jackie Chan. EXO fans also smartly brought banners to wish Jackie Chan Happy Birthday. Fans even signed their names to send the well wishes on behalf of their idol EXO. No wonder Jackie Chan still had nothing but praise for them despite having the spotlight stolen.
