The film DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART (DAN SUN NAM NUI 2)'s creators Johnnie To Kei Fung and Wai Ka Fai recently has been promoting the film nonstop all over China with the cast. Earlier at the Chongqing cinema circuit press conference, the film company even announced the good news that online advanced sales have already sold over 500,000 tickets in only 2 days and broken the 20 million yuan RMB mark. To Sir was in good spirits as he celebrates with Gao Yuanyuan, Vic Chou Yu Man and others with champagne. He even personally conducted the lucky drawing and gave away gifts to share the joy with everyone.
After the Chongqing event, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa immediately met up with them two nights ago at the Guangzhou W Hotel for the film premiere. To promote the national release the cast shared their production difficulties. Chin Wa revealed that Louis Koo Tim Lok was very scared during his building climbing scene. She said, "That building climbing scene was shot here (at the hotel). Everyone knew Goo Jai was afraid of heights. At the time he was really very scared up there, but he couldn't use a double. He insisted on personally finishing the shoot." Goo Jai not only had to overcome his fear but also the physical challenge. Jai Jai said, "Another scene was rather fierce. Chin Wa during the performance with Goo Jai held a pair of high heels. In order to express the pain inside her heart, she was so in character that Goo Jai had high heel marks all over his body." During a photo opportunity, Chin Wa, Yuanyuan and Jai Jai played "kissy face" with the actors' close up pouting posters.
After the premiere, To Sir brought the team to attend the Guangzhou "University Student Film Festival". Because DON'T was the opening film, it had a grand screening. After the screening the team also shared with the audience. The hall was filled with teachers and students alike.
