Veteran actor Lai Han Chi due to pneumonia earlier passed away at the age of 62. His family held a Taoist funeral ceremony. Two nights ago services began in Shatin Po Fook Hill. His friend Susan Shaw Yam Yam already paid her respect before 9AM. His god mother Mrs. Kwan Hoi San also attended the funeral.
Lai Han Chi's children stepped outside the hall around 10:30AM to conduct the Taoist ceremony. Lai Han Chi's remains were cremated and the ashes will be replaced in Fanling Fung Ying Seen Koon.
