The writer Lillian Lee Bik Wa novel series NIGHT has been adapted into films, TALES FROM THE DARK (MAI LEI YEH) and TALES FROM THE DARK 2 (KEI WAN YEH). Chen Wai Lam performed in one of the TALES FROM THE DARK stories. She and Leung Ka Fai worked together like conjoint twins to fight off ghosts. Although it was a ghost film, they looked rather funny. Leung Ka Fai played a fengshui master. Kelly played a crystal psychic. They both were shaky as ghost hunters.
Actually Best Actor Leung Ka Fai has never made a ghost film. Because he worked with director Lee Chi Ngai on TOM DICK AND HAIRY (FUNG CHUN SAM HUP) and he liked the character, he agreed to perform right away.
