The Nick Cheung Ka Fai, Louis Koo Tin Lok and Sean Lau Ching Wan starred new film THE WHITE STORM (SO DUK) was selected to be the opening film for the Asian Film Festival 2013. Two nights ago they attended the opening ceremony and said that they shot many dangerous stunts in Thailand for the film. Goo Jai said that he and Ka Fai worked on a building jump scene, after which they were told that it was a spot for suicides. He stated that he was a little scared. Would he consider declining further dangerous stunts? Ka Fai said, "This is worth paying attention to, actually I never wanted to but I don't know why I did." Goo Jai said that because sometimes he liked to make some more exciting stunts he never thought about not doing them. Ching Wan said that he would only occasionally make them. Was holding back his laughter while singing with Ka Fai the hardest part instead? Ching Wan and Goo Jai immediately joked that Ka Fai had a "Chau Guoon voice". Ching Wan said, "Singing wasn't hardest, but he really has his own style. He is a very outstanding singer."
Ka Fai said that Ken Low Wai Kwong took him to check out the "gold fish tank" in Thailand, but he explained that he only wanted to look. In the end he did not get a chance. He said, "I heard some structures were constructed very prettily and very luxuriously, they turned out to be 'gold fish tanks'. However we weren't lucky enough to go, hopefully in the future I will have a chance to check them out, even if just to look around." Goo Jai said that this production was not too difficult, the stunts were dangerous but he had a lot of fun. It was rare for them to be able to dine and chat together overseas and for Ka Fai to dig around for "gold fish tank". Ka Fai immediately stressed, "How would I dig for them? I don't know Thai and don't know where to go, I might not even be able to get back to the hotel!" The trio said that later they will attend the Rome Film Festival. Will Ka Fai and Ching Wan bring their wives for a holiday? Ching Wan said, "I won't bring her, but she will follow me there." Ka Fai said that he will not. "Because normally we go on vacation as a family, I rarely go alone. This time will be like a solo vacation."
