The Nick Cheung Ka Fai directed and starred new film KEEPER OF DARKNESS (TOR DEI KUI MOR YUN) performed decently. After five days it already passed HK$ 6 million at the box office. His "Brother" guest star Jacky Cheung Hok Yau also felt happy for Ka Fai. This time he guest starred as Death.
Ka Fai said that he put a lot of effort into Hok Yau's Death costume. He even revealed that early in the film preparation he has already saved the role for Hok Yau. He said, "From the start I already wanted to ask Ah Gor to play a role, but he is my brother so I have to give him a character of substance! When this character appears at the end of the story, I decided to cast Ah Gor in it. The impact would be greater!" Hok Yau praised Ka Fai's directing, but he never considered directing himself. He said that Ka Fai said directing was rather tough.
