The Hong Kong Film Award Association yesterday announced that two Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor Sean Lau Ching Wan will be the host at the 35th Hong Kong Film Award on April 3rd next year. Ching Wan's friend and Hong Kong Film Award board of directors' chair Derek Yee Tung Sing two nights ago revealed the news on Weibo. "Friends in the media please announce this quickly to keep him from backing out!"
Ching Wan earlier in the film THE MURDERER VANISHES (SIU SUT DIK HUNG SAU) worked with Gordon Lam Ka Tung. Ka Tung stated that one of the scenes was the most difficult in recent years. He even said that during the shoot Ching Wan's great acting almost forced him into shock. "A 3 minute take from beginning to the end, I had to run, play hurt, scream, finally I could only act with breathing. I really performed until I was in shock. Ching Wan's good acting gave me pressure, and brought all the emotions that I played out."
