After the Emperor Motion Picture THE BULLET VANISHES (SIU SUT DIK JI DAN), Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Sean Lau Ching Wan "reunited" after three years to work on the new film HEARTFALL ARISES (GAING TIN POR). They yesterday attended the press conference in Shanghai. Ching Wan jokingly called Ting Fung "Ting Fung Gor". When the host asked who they would blow up with a bomb, Ting Fung joked, "I would strap my manager Mani (Fok Man Hei) on the bomb."
How did Ching Wan feel about working with Ting Fung three years later? He joked, "The two of us are much more mature. Aside from the production Ting Fung rarely spoke. We didn't talk about our personal lives." This time playing a criminal psychology professor, Ching Wan stated that he liked to watch killer films for "research". "I am just watching the character performance! (Did the director put you in hard labor?) I did what an actor should do. The director's instructions were very clear, only that a lot of the medical and criminal psychology stuff I didn't understand in the beginning. (Did Ting Fung cook on the set?) No! I haven't tried it. (Did you ask him to invite you to his program?) You hurry up and ask him!"
Christie Chen played Ting Fung and Ching Wan's superior. For one scene she rehearsed her lines 100 times before hand, but when she took her mark she still forgot her line. Luckily both Best Actors were very patient. Sh joked that normally she did not dare to yell at Ting Fung, but in the film she could satisfy herself and felt great!
