Eric Tsang Chi Wai and Annie Liu (Lau Sum Yau) yesterday attended a charity event and made moon cakes with a group of learning disabled children. Speaking of his Lunar New year film, Chi Wai decided to start production at the end of the month. The project was tentatively titled I LOVE HONG KONG (NGOR OI HEUNG GONG). Originally they had a script early on, but on the day of silent mourning for the Philippines tragedy he decided to make a movie to inspire Hong Kong people. Thus he gave up the previous script. Chi Wai continued, "I feel everyone should gather their emotions. This incident has had quite a large impact. Everyone saw all the news and were all frustrated, but this incident showed the unity of the Hong Kong people." As for casting, Chi Wai stated that the script would be available in a few days. He would decide then. However everyone has been very satisfied. Ms. Mona Fong Yat Wa was even more supportive. Would he call in favors? Chi Wai said, "Come if you are free. Obviously Hong Kong doesn't have many movies yet everyone has been very busy. I want to look for screen writers and can find none, no cinematographer either. Everyone is working in the Mainland. I can't
find people."
