The Angelababy starred film A SENTIMENTAL STORY will soon be released in the Mainland. She will play a female cop for the first time. Since she took this film 3 years ago, she said that at the time she was a film industry new comer and had "nothing to lose". Thus she removed her burden to play this character. Director Gao Qunshu also praised her. "The most exciting part in the film is growth."
Baby recalled when she made the film, she thought in the film she saw her own gradual growth process, from starting out green to facing more and more experience in life and hiding more and more feeling. This film had many emotional scenes, which to her was an enormous challenge. Baby also had a memorable car chase and gun fight. Although at the time she shot on and off for a month, her legs were filled with bruises. She joked that every time after work her assistant carried her back!
