Linda Wong Hing Ping's father Jimmy Wang Yu earlier had two brain operations after suffering a stroke in Thailand. Linda earlier revealed online that her father has already flown on a special medical flight from Bangkok to Taipei for treatment on March 8th. She thanked her father's friends for their enormous assistance during his treatment and thanked everyone on behalf of her sisters for their care and concern for their father. She also said that the most important thing currently for her father was rest, in the short term they would not receive any visitors and hop that friends would understand.
