The annual Hong Kong Entertainment Expo will take place from today to April 4th. The 20 year old Hong Kong International Film and Television Market (FILMART) remains the focus for film and television companies to attract buyers. Thus every major film company and television station would set up stall inside and invited Chinese and foreign artists to assist with the promotions. Film stars Louis Koo Tin Lok, Sean Lau Ching Wan, Chrissie Chau Sau Na, Lin Gengxin and others will take the stage for their films. TVB will again send couples Kevin Cheng Ka Wing and Grace Chan Hoi Lam and Edwin Siu Ching Nam and Priscilla Wong Chui Yu along with many young actors. Korean star Lee Byung-Hun will arrive in Hong Kong Wednesday, then Lee Kwang-Soo and Yoo Ah-In will follow. International film star Sophie Marceau will converse with Karena Lam Ka Yun on France Night.

The 12th Hong Kong Entertainment Expo's theme this year is "Get Into the Scene". As in previous years it brings together 10 events including 3 founding events: the Hong Kong International Film and Television Market (Filmart), Hong Kong International Film Festival, the Hong Kong Film Awards and 7 center events; garnering the most industry attention has to be the 20 year old Hong Kong International Film and Television Market. Opening today, the event already has many films calling for their cast and crew to appear on the stage and promote in hopes of generating a buzz and attract even more buyers from around the world. Today the Sean Lau Ching Wan, Louis Koo Tin Lok and Eddie Peng Yu-Yan starred CALL ON HEROS (NGAI SING), the Janice Man Wing Shan and Max Zhang Jin starred KONG SAU (WILD BEAST) and the Derek Yee Tung Sing directed SWORD MASTER (SAM SIU YEH DIK GIM 3D)'s leads Lin Gengxin and Jiang Yiyan, and THE MENU (DOH FOR SUN MUN SIN)'s Gregory Wong Chung Hiu and Catherine Chau Ka Yi.
