The Benny Chan Muk Sing directed, Sammo Hung Kam Bo action directed, Sean Lau Ching Wan, Louis Koo Tin Lok and Eddie Peng Yu-Yan starred new film CALL OF HEROES (NGAI SING) not only had Chan Muk Sing's usual action scene expertise but also continued the heart warming side of LITTLE BIG MASTER (NG GOR SIU HAI DIK HAU JEUNG), which made the entire film even more human.

Lau Ching Wan, Koo Tin Lok and Peng Yu-Yan earlier worked on the film in Zhaoqing. The temperature reached the 30s in Celsius. Everyone had to work on action scenes in costume, which was quite difficult. Ching Wan has not made an action film in 20 years. Because in the film he was a whip expert, he had to spend some time to practice with the long whip before hand. To keep from hurting himself and others during the shoot, he kept practicing during his break in order to perform his best. However aside from the whip, Ching Wan also had other weapons like cooking tools like the knife and the ladle. In one scene he fought with those two weapons against the enemy.

Yolanda Yuan Quan who played Ching Wan's wife should not be overlooked either. Although she was the woman behind ching Wan and took care of everything at home. Yet in danger she would stand up for her family and turn anything in her hand into a weapon. She absolutely was a secret master.

Since Hung Kam Bo was the action director, quality was naturally guaranteed. One of the scenes was shot in a remote mountain. The team had to climb to the top everyday. To keep Hung Kam Bo from exhausting himself the team used to a crane, which Hung Kam Bo was very happy about as he felt like he was in a theme park. He kept taking photos with his phone and said that he had to show his grandson.

As for the villain Koo Tin Lok was the most comfortable one. He only had to use guns. However his character was dark and unstable. Sometimes even he felt scared. Yet when he was not in a scene, Goo Jai very quickly got out of the character and buried himself in a game of chess. Ching Wan also looked on to ease the tension.

Aside from the action, Chan Muk Sing continued the heart warming side of LITTLE BIG MASTER. Ching Wan and Yuan Quan had many emotional scenes. They had a daughter in the film and she added joy to the heavy story. Peng Yu-Yan was also very popular with the children in the film. The children liked to get close to him. Peng Yu-Yan often made faces while taking photos with the children and often treated them to snacks. He made them very happy.
