The Charlie Yeung Choi Nei directed film CHRISTMAS ROSE (SAN DAN MUI GWAI) invited Tsui Hark and Jacob Cheung Chi Leung to be its producer, Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Kwai Lun-Mei, Chang Chen and Xia Yu its stars. The trailer yesterday was unveiled in Beijing. The video had no warm moment, instead it displayed passionate conflicts and the actors' explosive performance. Actually Yeung Choi Nei's new film depicts sexual assault.

Kwok Fu Sing and Xia Yu said that when they first heard about the subject. They were in pain and even afraid, they also worried about how Yeung Choi Nei would handle it. Once the subject scared them off. Yet after watching the film they felt fortunate that they did not miss out on this film. Sing Sing in the film asked the victim some very embarrassing questions. Xia Yu joked, "Thank you Charlie for sparing me from playing the victim."

In the film Chang Chen had to play a doctor who violated Kwai Lun-Mei. Chang Chen at first struggled with taking the role. "I felt Kwok Fu Sing and Xia Yu stole away the good characters. 'Famous doctor commits sexual assault', is this the impression that Charlie has of me?" Chang Chen has always been known for taking his roles seriously. When he made RED CLIFF (CHET BIK) he read THREE KINGDOMS, when he made THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI) he trained until he won a top martial art prize. Yesterday he was asked whether he had to get a medical license to play the dirty doctor well. Kwok Fu Sing joked, "Did you go for the medical license to study how to commit the act?"
