Global Saga Media Entertainment Ltd. yesterday announced that it officially moved into its new Tsuen Wan TML Square's office. Boss Tony Wong Yuk Long said that he will invest over HK$ 10 million not only to continue to produce even more sincere films for the Hong Kong film industry but also strengthen its connection to the Hangzhou branch office to actively plan for Mainland film market development.
Yesterday Wong Yuk Long, Rachel Lam Hei Tung and Frankie Lam Man Lung attended the ribbon cutting ceremony. Wong Yuk Long said, "The company performed well last year. THE MERGER (NGOR MOON TING JIN BA!) at the end of last year won multiple awards overseas. The new film GWING DOH LOK CHAM GEI early this year also attracted overseas investors to invite the production team to shoot in the U.S., which boosted my confidence in the current team. Thus this year we will expand to two to three times the current scale. In addition, next year the investment amount will exceed HK$ 10 million. Hopefully it will be able to bring more and even higher quality films to the industry and the audience."
"Boss lady" Lam Hei Tung revealed that two to three films will be made next year, but because the company has already taken a Mainland palace costume series another film about social subjects will have to wait until early to mid next year. "Now We are in negotiation with a Best Actor, after looking at the script he expressed interest. Hopefully we will have good news for everyone soon."
