Joyce Cheng Yun Yi, Jeana Ho Pui Yu and Mandy Ho Pui Man
in the new film SPECIAL FEMALE FORCE (LAT GAING BA WONG FA) saluted the
90's INSPECTOR WEARS SKIRTS (BA WONG FA) film series. Producer Charlie
Wong Wing Fung on the Cable Entertainment program Film Montage said that
Yun Yi's character used Sandra Ng Kwan Yu as the blue print. He said,
"The casting was the hardest. We chose Yun Yi to play Ng Kwan Yu's
funny lady character, finally she showed all of the loyal side. Although
she was afraid of heights she still climbed four to five stories, her
professionalism was truly admirable!"
Jeana yesterday with Ho Pui Man, director Wilson Chin Kwok Wai
and producer Wong Wing Fung attended a forum in Tiu Keng Leng. Jeana
said, "The forum's theme was 'the birth of a film". I deliberately
dressed more academic. (Did you ask your boyfriend for tips?) When he
heard that I was going to a forum, he said, 'You?' He says that
serious sharing was OK, I wouldn't need to be nervous."
