Sandra Ng Kwan Yu planned to make the film GOLDEN CHICKEN 3 (GUM GAI 3). She said, "It has been 10 years since the sequel, I had a nostalgia and I really wanted to make it, but this time I wouldn't ask my hubby (Peter) Chan Ho Sun to direct, but the first film's screen writer (Matthew) Chow Hoi Kwong. As for the cast I wanted to use GOLDEN CHICKEN 2's original team. Initially (Ronald) Cheng Chung Kei, (Chapman) To Man Jat, (Jacky) Cheung Hok Yau, (Tony) Leung Ka Fai, (Eric) Tsang Chi Wai were all interested. We will add (Nick) Cheung Ka Fai and rumored couple (Louis) Koo Tin Lok and Michelle Chen. Michelle Chen was the director's personal preference and had nothing to do with Goo Jai. Goo Jai will have two scenes but will not see Michelle Chen." She denied that Goo Jai asked not to work with Michelle Chen on the same scene. Goo Jai would not hinder creativity.

Speaking of Julian Cheung Chi Lam's rising popular and money making opportunities, Anita Yuen Wing Yi could retire. Len Len joked, "Seeing Hubby's successful career, I am very happy. It is a giant step toward my retirement young and having money." She admitted that now she worked for interest. She did not need to play young or unpleasant characters.
