Nam Hung earlier accepted an interview with the Che Suk Mui radio program. She talked about her 47 years of marriage with husband Chor Yuen and at the same time clarified that Chor Yuen did not have Alzheimer's Disease. Nam Hung stated that her husband was very happy, very healthy, completely without any problem and did not have Alzheimer's. Was Chor Yuen upset when he saw the report? She said that he was not. Chor Yuen said that saying anything was useless since it was already written; instead she was unhappy and wanted to make the clarification.
Speaking of her 47 years of marriage with Chor Yuen, how did they maintain it? Nam Hung said that a couple must have mutual trust and tolerance, the word divorce should never be said. Growing up in a single parent family, she felt that the woman should be more tolerant. However was she afraid of all the actresses around Chor Yuen? She pointed out that indeed many stars liked to stick around directors. She said, "In the end as long as my husband never said anything to me, nothing happened!" She also said that she had confidence in herself. She felt that they would not be as talented or famous as her. She knew how to sing, perform Cantonese Opera, she also had a son. With her son she was completely satisfied, she joked that anyone who wanted her husband could have him.
