Karen Mok Man Wai yesterday attended a coffee shop opening at the Polytechnic Institute and shared a 3 foot giant fish and chips with guests.

Reportedly director Jeff Lau Chun Wai was interested in making a final chapter of CHINESE ODYSSEY. Karen admitted that she has heard about it. "This year will be the 20th anniversary of CHINESE ODYSSEY, I heard that there will be celebration events but no one has contacted me with anything actual. If the movie truly starts production I have to have a part. The film before was too classic, everyone really liked the character of Bak Jing Jing. (Yet it will be without co-star Yammie Nam Kit Ying). Such time traveling mishaps can be fantastic, but JOURNEY TO THE WEST will always be classic. This subject is too amazing.' Aside from CHINESE ODYSSEY, Karen also wanted Lau Chun Wai to remake another classic 92 LEGENDARY LA ROSE NOIRE. She would like to play Tony Leung Ka Fai's character the most. She said, "Back then when I returned from studying in England I saw this film, it made quite an impression."

However this year Karen had no time to make a movie, because now she is already starting to plan for her concert tour that will start in September. The first stop will be Taiwan, then the Mainland. Because last tour did not have a Hong Kong stop, she hoped to be able to perform in Hong Kong this time.
