[2016.12.29] ROGUE ONE STEALS TOP CHRISTMAS SPOT

Hong Kong's Christmas total box office was HK$ 32,524,704, a decline of 26.39% from last year's HK$ 44,182,612.

According to the Hong Kong Box Office Co. Ltd., the three day Christmas slot's highest grossing film was the Donnie Yen Chi Tan starred ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY with HK$ 7,467,539; in second place was PASSENGER with HK$ 6,392,548; in third was the animated film SING with HK$ 5,838,168. The Stephy Tang Lai Yun starred Hong Kong film L FOR LOVE L FOR LIES TOO (SUT LUEN YUT) made HK$ 2,852,252 in fifth place. ROGUE ONE since its December 15th release accumulated HK$ 33,341,212 over 27 days. L FOR LOVE from December 22nd to 27th (still in release) accumulated HK$ 4,954,487.
