The Best Actor Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Gong Li, Law Chung Him, Feng Shaofeng and Xiao Shenyang starred THE MONKEY KING 2 (SAI YAU GEI ji SUEN NG HUNG SAM DA BAK GWUT JING) held advanced screenings in 100 cities nationwide and 33 regions around the world. Industry insiders, media film critics and famous film magazines all gave good reviews as the film reached "zero bad review" excellent word of mouth. A world renowned film magazine film critic said that the film was excellent, the production was thorough and elevated the visual effects. Sing Sing and Gong Li's centerpiece performance had quite a presence. MONKEY's global advanced screenings for industry professionals was a show of confidence in its film quality. The other two Chinese Lunar New Year meanwhile continued to remain mysterious.
The film yesterday released the character posters. Gong Li as the demon king White Bone Spirit was very dominating. The King Kong band in front of her gave a preview of her battle with Sun Wukong. Sing Sing as Sun Wukong looked vicious and baffled. The "King" Kris Philips (Fei Xiang)'s identity remained a mystery. The blood red wine glass in his hand drew people in.
