Stephen Chow Sing Chi led the MERMAID (MEI YUN YU) actors Deng Chao, Show Lo (Law Chi Cheung, Piggy) and Jelly Lin Yun on their promotional tour. Sing Yeh took special care of Lin Yun and put her on a strict diet. Once Lin Yun wanted to have pork knuckle and Sing Yeh had to stop her. He explained that he was afraid the more Lin Yun ate the bigger her face would become, as he has never seen someone with such a large face.

Piggy played from JOURNEY TO THE WEST: CONQUERING THE DEMONS (SAI YAU GONG MOR PIN)'s lonely prince to MERMAID's Octopus. His biggest wish was that next time he could play a normal person. He also revealed that in both JOURNEY and MERMAID he worked with Aunt Hengdian. When they ran into each other she sent him a text message to make her feelings known! Deng Chao and Piggy challenged Sing Yeh's classic film lines. They both performed the "10,000 Years" speech; Deng Chao cried while Piggy gave a kiss; Sing Yeh said that they both were still a little off from his and they had to try again.
