The Jet Li (Lee Nin Kit), Wen Zhang, Kuei Lun-mei, Zhu Yuanyuan starred film OCEAN HEAVEN yesterday held a press conference in Beijing. The event also launched the film's autistic children charity event in four major cities. Hopefully through this film more viewers would have a better understanding of autistic children. Director Xue Xiaolu and Lee Ning Kit, Wen Zhang, Kuei Lun-mei, Zhu Yuanyuan attended and talked about the changes in the film as Lee Nin Kit this time even "gave up action for drama".

Recently named Time magazine's one of the 100 most influential people in the world, Lee Nin Kit was selected for his attention to charitable causes. Lee Nin Kit said this film's themes were warmth and gratefulness. He hoped to bring more film colleagues' attention to charity and contribute his caring with his film professional identity. In the film he played a single father of an autistic child. He had a lot of dialogues and emotional scenes, which were very different from his previous characters. As a father, Lee Nin Kit felt very sentimental when he played the role. Wen Zhang who played the autistic child expressed before accepting the role he did not understand this illness at all. He spent a long time on understanding autistic people's thinking. Working with a Mainland film creative team for the first time, Kuei Lun-mei appeared as a clown in the film to cheer up Wen Zhang.

At the press conference, the organizer invited a patient with severe autism to perform a song on the piano. At the event Tencent charity foundation donated 1 million yuan to the One Foundation for the caring and assistance of autistic children and also officially launched the 4 city poster art relay event for autistic children. Lee Nin Kit honestly said that he started the relay project so these children would never be lonely in their lifetimes and always have someone to love and help them and their families. The project will take place in Beijing, Qingdao, Dalian, and Shanghai. Autistic children of each stop will personally draw an OCEAN HEAVEN charity poster that will be displayed at the final stop in Shanghai.
